Catnip allows users who do not know programming to use the Catnip front-end to deploy RGB++ tokens without any barriers. During the process, they only need to enter the currency name, code, upload images and web pages, and use a small amount of CKB to create xUDT tokens that support RGB++. In the process, there is no need to use the SDK on CKB as before to issue tokens, which greatly reduces the threshold for issuing tokens.
While Catnip is issuing tokens, it has established a semi-liquidity CKB trading pair for the tokens, enabling real-time buying and selling. The mathematical model of buying and selling uses Catnip Curve (similar to pump funโs bonding curve), which does not require CKB in the process. The AMM curve can be established, which solves the current problem of insufficient liquidity of CKB on traditional trading pairs.
Catnip Curve - When there are fewer RGB++ tokens in the trading pool, the price will be higher, similar to the bonding curve on pump.fun, but there is no purchase limit for this curve. Although using a fixed flow curve will cause greater price fluctuations in the later period, it solves the problem of insufficient liquidity on the CKB chain. In the future, we will consider adding liquidity tokens, similar to the current uniswap v2 solution, to solve price fluctuations.
Catnip also provides users with social functions. Users can see real-time transaction information on the homepage. Catnip will also rank trading pairs differently, allowing users to view popular tokens. In the trading pairs, we have also established a message board so that users can communicate in real time. Users can also view other users' transaction information and obtain other users' transaction information on the personal profile page.
In order to ensure the safety of users, all tokens issued on the platform do not belong to anyone. The authority only belongs to the trading pair between CKB and the token. The publisher cannot modify the token information or issue additional tokens. Deployer can reserve some tokens by purchasing them in advance at the beginning, and the number of tokens held by the publisher is open and transparent, so users can refer to it before purchasing tokens.
Transaction fees will be charged when creating and trading the token Catnip. When establishing the token, 400CKB (including 144CKB of xUDT Cell and Data Cell) will be charged, as well as a fixed 0.5% transaction fee. The transaction fee will be used as team income to maintain Catnip operation, part of the income will also be used to empower CAT++.
